We're Rolling Over

Last Friday morning Logan rolled over all by himself. I amaze myself at how excited I get when he does something different each week. I wish we could have put off learning how to through a fit, but I'm affraid genetics may have played a part in it. He is also cutting teeth. You can see the two little bottom front teeth coming in when he smiles real big. I'm not sure exactly how much "tater" weighs, but will find out next week when we go to the doctor. I had his pictures made last week with Kim and as soon as I get them I will post some.

2 Month Dr. Visit

We went to the doctor last Thursday and big man weighed in at 15 lbs and 2 oz and 24 inches long. Dr. Goldsmith said he was healthy as a tick, I guess a little cereal in the milk will do that. He is smiling and jabbering all the time and has been sleeping most of the night for a couple of weeks know. He has been such a good baby I'm scared the next one will be bad.

38 1/2 Weeks

Sorry about not posting in a while, between the holidays and vacation days I've been away from my computer for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have holiday pictures but I probably want be able to get them up before the baby gets here. They have scheduled an induction for Monday the 7th at 8:00pm. I have been going to the doctor every Thursday for about the last 8 weeks doing NST's (Non-Stress Test) and Ultrasounds to watch the baby because of my gestational diabetes. Last week the baby weighed in at 8lbs. 1oz. and they said if I made it to the 3rd of January they were going to induce. So we'll find out in a couple of days what this rolly polly is. I guess we have finally narrowed the names down to Aubrey Layne Rutledge (Aubrey) and Michael Logan Rutledge (Logan). Please keep us in your prayers that everything goes well, and I will try to get pictures of the baby on here as soon as I can.

Baby Bedding

Here are some pictures of the bedding. I couldn't find one that I like to use for either a boy or girl so I picked one of each out and will send the one I don't need back once the baby gets here.

7 Months

Well here is my 28 week pictures. We are progressing as you can see. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. There really hasn't been much going on. Lane has been in and out of town (Hunting Season) so we haven't really done anything to blog about. I go back to the doctor tomorrow and will be doing the Glucose Screening Test, keep your fingers crossed that I pass. The bedding has been ordered and should come in some time this week. I will try to get come pictures and post them. The bedding is what Lane's parents are giving us for our baby shower gift. We are having the 4-D scan done on November 8th, we are both excited about that, finally a face to go with all the punches and kicks that now fill my days and nights. If I can figure out how to get them on here I will post them too.

Underbelly Fact!

Fact is at some point a pregnant woman looses sight of anything under her belly button (in my case anyway). So I thought I would post pictures of my point of view for those who have never been in this situation (i.e. my husband and my sister). Lately they have both been spotting things on my clothes that I was completely unaware of. So, apparently I walk around with stuff on the bottom of my shirt and on my jeans and don't know it, BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE DOWN THERE. If I tilt forward a little I can see my shoe, which so far have been matching daily, but there my come a time when I can't see them and they don't match. So! Please, Please help a pregnant woman out and let her know if she has something on her clothes or wearing mis-matched shoes, we can use all the help we can get.

Finally!

Finally the baby has some furniture. I thought I would never get finished putting these together. I wasnt' sure about the color when I ordered it, but now that it's set up in the room I am very happy with it.

Our Home

Please excuse the yard. We have been kinda lazy in that department considering the heat the past couple of weeks. We currently live in Dora and are planning to move to McCalla hopefully in the near future. We're trying to get closer to our families so if we need help with the baby we're not so far away. So keep us in your prayers, we're going to need it with the way the market is right now.

More Belly Pictures

The baby is actually measuring a week further along than originally thought, around Jan. 7th instead of the 13th, but they are not going to move my due date because it wasn't more than 10 days different. So I could go a week or so early, which I'm sure by then I will be more than happy for that to happen.

22 Weeks

I have finally gotten around to taking some belly pictures. We have been trying to get the upstairs finished so we can hopefully put the house up for sale the first of October. We also got the baby furniture this weekend but can't put it together until we get the Lane's old bedroom suit moved upstairs. So it may be a couple of weeks before I can get pictures of the baby's room on here. I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. I have only gained 3 1/2 lbs. so far. We had our first ultrasound done, Lane made sure we didn't see anything, so we still don't know what it is. I think boy, Lane thinks girl.

Queen of the house

This is Cricket, our first child. She will be a year old in September. She certainly has the personality of a little clown. Like most Mini-Pins she keeps us entertained and likes to be the center of attention. I hope we don't have any trouble out of her when the baby gets here. We keep telling her she will soon have to share us with the baby.
